September Luncheon – Sept 17^th

The November election will hold some unique intrigue for citizens in Lincoln & Lancaster County:

• UNL Board of Regents - For the first time in almost two decades (18 years to be exact) - Tim Clare will not be a regent.   Dr. Jeremy Hosein and Brent Comstock are vying for his seat.
•  Secretary of State – In November Nebraskans will elect only the fifth Secretary of State in 55 years - Alan Beerman (20), Scott Moore (~9), John Gale ~19) and since 2019 – current SOS Bob Evnen.   While there are four candidates on the ballot – Scott Peterson and Sarah Slattery will be joining the luncheon.

The format will not be a debate per se – but we’ll get to hear from the candidates running for these offices and will ensure time for your questions.
