Michaela joined Speedway Properties in 2025 as Project Development Manager, bringing 20+ years of experience in municipal operations, financial systems, economic development, and process improvement. Her background includes customer relationship management, impact fee administration, and a strong focus on operational efficiency and service delivery. In her role, Michaela leads project planning, issue resolution, and supports the company’s long-term growth strategy. She works closely with city departments—including Planning, Building & Safety, LTU, Health, and Law—on permitting, zoning, infrastructure, redevelopment, and code compliance. She also serves as a liaison on special projects and represents Speedway in urban development and community engagement. Michaela holds an MA in Management from Doane College, a BS in Business Administration from Bellevue University, and is a certified Economic Development Finance Professional.
